An interactive website that has many tools for student (and non-student) activists including an events calendar, over 150 online resources (things like organizing guides and issue related materials), searchable databases of people, groups, schools, email lists, etc.

Democratizing Education Network
A network of students, youth, faculty, staff, and community members working to reverse the corporatization of higher education, major cuts in public funding, massive tuition increases, ballooning student debt, and collapsing educational quality and staff support.


Feminist Campus

The campus program of the Feminist Majority Foundation and focuses on reproductive rights, women's rights, affirmative action, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights through organizing, networking and educational advocacy at colleges, universities and high schools nationwide.


Free Exchange on Campus 

A coalition of groups committed to advocating for the rights of students and faculty to hear and express a full range of ideas unencumbered by political or ideological interference. The free exchange of ideas on a college or university campus is central to the learning process yet this freedom is being threatened by ideological agendas, like the so-called "Academic Bill of Rights" initiatives.


Future 5000

A web tool to support the growth of a powerful and connected progressive youth movement. It’s a dynamic directory of youth organizations working for justice across all 50 states. Each of the 600+ organizations listed on the website has its own profile that describes their work in campus, community, civic engagement, and cultural organizing.


The Institute for College Access & Success

Works to make higher education more available and affordable for people of all backgrounds. By conducting and supporting nonpartisan research, analysis, and advocacy, the Institute aims to improve the processes and public policies that can pave the way to successful educational outcomes for students and for society.

An all-partisan network dedicated to educating, empowering, and energizing young people to increase civic engagement and political participation.


National Youth Advocacy Coalition

The only national LGBT youth, social justice organization.


The National Youth and Student Peace Coalition

Organizes students for the global liberation and empowerment of oppressed people, and educates youth and students about the issues surrounding war, terrorism, and the impact of September 11th-related legislation.


The 180/Movement for Democracy

Dedicated to helping build a campus based movement for political empowerment and participatory democracy. Their site has a campus democracy program and information on how you can affiliate as a local chapter.


Student Debt Alert
 
A project of the Student PIRGs (Public Interest Research Groups). With the help of a professional staff of advocates and organizers, the student PIRGs investigate problems and develop practical solutions, and convince the media and decision-makers to pay attention and take action.

Student Peace Action 

A grassroots peace and justice organization working on campuses to end physical, social and economic violence caused by U.S. militarism at home and abroad.


Student Pugwash USA

Promotes social responsibility in science and technology, preparing science, technology and policy students to make social responsibility a guiding focus of their academic and professional endeavors.

United States Student Association
Tracks and lobbies federal legislation and policy, and organizes students from across the country to participate in the political process, through testifying in official Congressional hearings, letter-writing campaigns, and face-to-face lobby visits between students and their elected officials.


United Students Against Sweatshops

An international student movement of campuses and individual students fighting for sweatshop free labor conditions and workers' rights.
