Social media icons

Cal State San Marcos uses social media applications to build awareness of our mission, to promote a sense of community and to celebrate our work. Under the direction of the Office of Communication’s Social Media Specialist Katie Chappell, CSUSM has 12 official accounts, including the platforms Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google+.

Because social media tools and applications have the potential to have a significant impact on the reputation of the University, official guidelines have been developed to help properly portray, promote and protect the institution and to assist CSUSM employees in managing their social media accounts on behalf of the Cal State San Marcos. To read the guidelines, view CSUSM’s new social media directory, or apply to create and register a CSUSM social media account, visit the new CSUSM social webpage.
