Joshua Pack is a Managing Director of Fortress Investment Group, LLC (NYSE: "FIG"), a leading global investment manager with approximately $45 billion of equity assets under management. He joined Fortress in 2002 and is currently a Partner in the Credit Funds business which invests globally in undervalued assets and distressed and illiquid debt investments. Mr. Pack serves on the investment committees of a number of the private equity and hedge funds that comprise the Credit Funds business and is Portfolio Manager of the Fortress Net Lease Fund. He runs the Los Angeles office for the firm.
While at Fortress, Mr. Pack has held various senior positions with global responsibility for credit underwriting, lending, asset management and principal transactions in the following businesses: specialty finance, middle market finance, net lease strategies, asset backed securitization, CLO trading, loan servicing, restaurant and retail, media and entertainment as well as other esoteric asset classes.
Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Pack was a Vice President with Wells Fargo & Co. in the capital markets group where he managed a team of investment professionals originating and underwriting senior loan transactions for Wells Fargo Commercial Capital.
After a brief stint at the US Air Force Academy, Mr. Pack received a B.A. in Economics from California State University, San Marcos in 1997. He actively supports Veteran causes and charities for mental health and is a member of the Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle. He resides in Pacific Palisades, California with his wife of 15 years and their four young children.
