Ken Markstein

Mr. Ken Markstein graduated from CSU San Jose with a bachelor’s in business finance and a minor in education. After graduation in 1974, he joined Markstein Beverage Co. as the accounting/computer manager. After a series of promotions, he moved on to Markstein Beverage Co. in Oakland as the president and general manager. In 1987, Mr. Markstein with his family purchased Mission Distributing in San Marcos, California and he became president and CEO. Markstein Beverage Co. is a wholesale beverage distributor, employing over 120 personnel. The company has 120 fleet vehicles and sales totaling approximately $75 million per year. Mr. Markstein also holds the position of vice president of Markstein Beverage Co., Sacramento. Sales for Markstein Beverage Co. – Sacramento are $100 million annually.
