Solo Piano Concert: Ching-Ming Cheng Following her sold-out 2012 debut concert, Dr. Ching-Ming Cheng, Assistant Professor of Music at CSUSM, will perform works by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, and Bach/Busoni. Super Stem Saturday
Once again, Cal State San Marcos will serve as the North County “hub” for the Festival and will “kick off” the week’s festivities with “Super STEM Saturday” (SSS). SSS offers the community, free of charge, the opportunity to participate in inspirational science, technology, engineering and mathematics activities. Teachers, faculty and students from CSUSM, The Classical Academies and local High Schools will present “Scientist Chats” and over 50 hands-on activities and demonstration booths. Super Stem Saturday underscores the importance of exposing students to STEM academic and future career opportunities.
