Faculty Research

The Office of Graduate Studies and Research is committed to support faculty professional development, research, scholarly and creative activites.

Faculty may consult with the AVP for Research on internal grants and awards, external grants, fellowships, and other professional development opportunities.  The primary internal funds available are:

Other funding sources include allocations provided by individual colleges, Faculty Development Awards through the Faculty Center, and funding for collaborative projects between CSUSM, Palomar College, and Mira Costa College through the North County Higher Education Alliance (NCHEA).

The Office of Graduate Studies and Resources also works closely with the University Auxiliary Research Services Corporation (UARSC) to encourage and support faculty seeking external grant funding.
