Who's Invited: Students, Alumni, Employees, Families, Community
Featuring free carnival games, interactive booths, a rock wall, dunk tank and lots of prizes and free Cougar swag for students, CougarFest is one of CSUSM's most popular traditions. Event-goers will have the opportunity to collect tickets from each carnival booth redeemable for cool prizes including gift cards and CSUSM Cougar gear. In support of “Colleges Rock Hunger,” a canned food drive competition against all San Diego area universities, CougarFest attendees can receive one prize ticket for each can of nonperishable food donated at the event. The collection station will be located next to the prize booth.
Food trucks will be on hand to serve up some of your favorites cuisines (available for purchase) from Sweet Treats, The InSlider and Flippin’ Pizza.
At CougarFest, be sure to stop by the Senior Class Gift Campaign booth and join your classmates in signing the Thank CSUSM Banner or writing a personal thank you card to a faculty or staff member that has made your experience at CSUSM memorable or meaningful. Cards will be hand-delivered by the Senior Class committee.

Throw on your best 80s garb and join CSUSM and USUAB for an outrageous, totally-awesome free festival featuring an air band competition, costume contest and 80s-inspired activities, followed by the outdoor film screening of “Rock of Ages” at 7 p.m. Bring a chair or blanket to watch the film on the Library Plaza lawn.

Members of Fraternity & Sorority Life will be cooking up some delicious BBQ for the campus community while collecting nonperishable cans of food for the College Rocks Hunger can food drive. Bring a can to give back to the San Marcos community and get free lunch.
At Greeks Give Back & Grillin', be sure to stop by the Senior Class Gift Campaign booth and join your classmates in signing the Thank CSUSM Banner or writing a personal thank you card to a faculty or staff member that has made your experience at CSUSM memorable or meaningful. Join your fellow Cougars and cheer on Men's Soccer as they take on Westminster College. A BBQ lunch, catered by Hunter Steakhouse and sponsored by Liberty Mutual, will be served. Current students are free; Alumni Association members cost $3; non-member alumni, faculty, staff and guests are $5 each. Family friendly activities, including face painting, a bounce house and balloon artist, will be on hand to entertain children. Attendees to the game will receive free pom poms to cheer on their home team (while supplies last).
