The HRIS team is responsible for overseeing human resources related computer systems including the administration of procedures, security and reporting. We serve as liaison between HR and CSU Systemwide CMS (Common Management Systems), campus IITS, Payroll, job applicants and employees, providing technical support relating to HR processes. HRIS also oversees the maintenance of the HREO web page and is responsible for gathering reports and data requested by the campus community and other stakeholders.

Process Guides for Self-Service Functions
Employee Self-Service
Information for employees on how to use the Employee Self-Service function, which is a PeopleSoft feature that enables CSU-San Marcos employees to view/change their personal information and view leave balances.
Student Employee
Information for students on how to enter and view reported time using the MyCSUSM access portal.
Manager Self-Service
Information for managers on how to navigate and use PeopleSoft Manager Self-Service, which allows managers to view and update human resources related tasks and information for the employees who report to them. This includes employee timesheet, absence report, leave balance inquiry, employee training summary and approving time.
