    • my|CalPERS is a personalized, centralized, and secure Web site that allows you to access your information quickly, easily, and reliably. It is a one-stop shop for conducting all of your financial planning activities.
  • What is the difference between my|CalPERS and CalPERS On-Line?
    • my|CalPERS is an integrated extension of CalPERS On-Line. my|CalPERS provides access to your personal information and online services. It is your tool for getting things done. CalPERS On-Line, on the other hand, focuses on providing you with information. It is your resource for learning all about CalPERS benefits, programs, and services.
  • Can retired members use my|CalPERS?
    • Yes! Retired members and other CalPERS members can use my|CalPERS to update their address and contact information, view benefit and tax statements, and more.
  • Why do I need to register for my|CalPERS?
    • CalPERS is committed to protecting your confidential member information. You must register for my|CalPERS in order to authenticate yourself. This helps ensure that your personal information remains confidential.
  • If I registered for CalPERS On-Line, can I use the same User ID and Password for my|CalPERS?
    • Yes. my|CalPERS and CalPERS On-Line are integrated, so if you are registered for one, you are automatically registered for the other.
  • How secure is my|CalPERS?
    • CalPERS is committed to ensuring your personal information remains confidential. We have taken several steps to safeguard the integrity of our communications and computing infrastructure, including, but not limited to: Password authentication, monitoring, auditing, and encryption.
  • Are you sure my CalPERS member information is secure? Can anyone else access it? 
    • No one can access your member information unless they know both your User ID and your Password. No one at CalPERS or any of our business partners will know your Password or Personal Hint Answer. You also need to carefully safeguard your Password. Don't share it with anyone, and prevent others from viewing your information on your computer screen.
  • If I have trouble logging in to my|CalPERS, who do I contact?
    • Please contact 888 CalPERS (or 888-225-7377) if you experience any trouble logging in to the site or use the Ask CalPERS online service.
  • Why is my account balance dated June 30th of the last fiscal year?
    • Currently, we do not offer "live" account balances. However, we are developing a consolidated pension information technology platform that will soon allow us to provide our members with their most current account balances!
