Preparing for your Performance Evaluation

 The performance evaluation process provides employees and their supervisors the opportunity to review and discuss individual performance, as well as set goals for the next review year.    This workshop will provide training regarding the evaluation process and will summarize successful strategies for how to use the process as a communication tool to discuss performance, future expectations, and development objectives.  The workshop will also keep employees up to date on any changes to the performance evaluation process and will address any relevant bargaining agreement changes. Conducting Performance Evaluations

Effective performance management aligns the efforts of supervisors and employees with department and campus objectives, promotes consistency in performance evaluations, and motivates all employees to perform at their best.  This workshop will provide training regarding the evaluation process, outline how to write an effective evaluation, summarize successful strategies for conducting the evaluation meeting, and offer advice on what to do throughout the year.  Participants will learn about comparing documents for quality and objectivity and looking for common appraisal errors.  The workshop will also keep lead workers and managers up to date on any changes to the performance evaluation process and will address any relevant bargaining agreement changes.
