Come join us in the Absence Management Open Lab.  HREO will be available to all Faculty/Staff and MPP's who would like some hand-on guidance with the new Absence Management reporting system rather than attending the full training sessions.  During this open lab, walk-ins are welcome.

Emotional Intelligence

Researchers have discovered that emotional intelligence is twice as important as IQ and cognitive ability combined in determining professional success. Emotional intelligence is the ability to simultaneously manage one’s own emotions and the emotions of others in a way that reduces emotional outbursts and conflict, and creates positive and productive outcomes. This course will guide individuals in the understanding of emotional intelligence and will provide techniques to manage and resolve unwanted emotions in a way that sets them up for future success.

Course will consist of four – 3.5 hour sessions:
