Search Committees - Diversity and Search Protocols

If you are serving on a search committee, this training will provide guidelines on how to attract a diverse pool of candidates:

  • For faculty searches, all committee chairs and diversity advocates must have attended training within a 12-month period (recommended that all other committee members attend)
  • For MPP searches, all committee chairs and Equal Employment Opportunity/Diversity representatives must have attended training within a 12-month period (all other committee members must have attended training within a 24-month period)

Planning and Conducting Effective Performance Evaluations - for MPPs and Lead Workers

This workshop will provide training on the CSU San Marcos performance evaluation process, outline how to plan for and prepare effective evaluations and development plans, summarize successful strategies for conducting the evaluation meeting, and provide information on effective coaching and performance management throughout the year. The workshop will also keep lead workers and managers up to date on any changes to the performance evaluation process. This training is mandatory for all new MPPs.

Conflict of Interest Form 700

The California State University system requires employees in designated positions to file a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) on an annual basis. In this session, employees who are required to file an annual Statement of Economic Interests will obtain an understanding of CSU conflict of interest codes and information on how to complete the Form 700.
