Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Supervisor Training

Managers will receive information on services provided by the EAP and how to use them to lead employees more effectively.

Defensive Driving

Any state employee (staff/faculty/volunteer/student employee) who drives a state vehicle, powered cart or drives their own personal vehicle on university business must complete this program. Presenter: Risk Management and Safety

Recommended for employees that drive state vehicles or claim mileage

Employee Fee Waiver

Fee Waiver is one of the most generous benefits available to employees.  The few waiver benefit allows employees and eligible dependents to participate in CSU classes at reduced rates.  This workshop will provide employees with information on how to apply for and use the employee fee waiver benefit.

Employees will receive information on services provided by our campus employee assistance provider, Aetna.  This workshop will include information on Resources for Living, which are work-life benefits, as well as counseling services.

Savings Plus Plan - Enrolling in Voluntary Retirement Program

The Savings Plus Program (SPP) 457 plan allows you to build a retirement savings account using automatic payroll deductions that go into investments you select from the SPP portfolio. A licensed representative from SPP will be available to answer your questions and provide information on how tax deferred savings will help you reach your retirement goals. This course will also provide information on how to use retirement dollars to purchase CalPERS service credit.

Savings Plus Plan - Asset Allocation

For employees currently participating in the Savings Plus Program (SPP), this informational workshop will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the investment choices available through SPP and determine a strategy that fits your time horizon and risk tolerance. 

Personnel Action Forms (PAN) Training

This training will provide instruction on Personnel Action Notifications (PAN) processes and procedures.  The information provided will assist in completing PANs accurately and efficiently.

Top 10 Things Every Lead Worker Should Know

Lead Workers have a unique function in the CSU. This session will cover roles and responsibilities for Leads, how they differ from those of Supervisors, and will discuss the primary areas Leads should know in order to be successful.
