Opportunities to Present your Research
All HD students who have
taken (or are currently taking) HD497 should consider presenting their
project. There are many possibilities, for example:
Off campus:
- Present an oral
poster (power point presentation) at SSRIC, a multi-disciplinary
(small) student competition which moves from campus to campus each
each in April. You can participate in the competition or just
present to get the oral presentation experience. Materials are
usually due in February. Watch the site for this year's information
to be posted http://www.ssric.org/participate/src
-
Present a paper poster at CPA, a
clinical conference which will be close next year - in
Anaheim, April 16-19, 2009. Your proposal (abstract) to present is
due November. See further instructions at
http://www.cpapsych.org/cde.cfm?event=219239
