| Credit Card and Electronic Check transactions
are processed by SmartPay, a service owned and operated
by Informed Decisions, Corp. (IDC). By choosing this
payment method you will leave the CSUSM web site to
complete your transaction using the IDC SmartPay system.
Your data will be kept private and only used by CSUSM
and the service provider, IDC. A convenience fee of
2.9% will be added to your payment and collected by
IDC.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Students - you will
need to use your Student ID/SmartWeb ID and PIN to
login to SmartPay.
Faculty/Staff- you
MUST click on "Create a New User Name" for
first time users to create a new SmartPay User Name
and PIN, do not use the Student ID login field. You
MUST use your CSUSM email login (e.g. jsmith) as your
SmartPay User Name, not your entire CSUSM email address.
This will be a one time setup and you will use this
same User Name and PIN in the future to pay by SmartPay.
STEP ONE: Pay by
Credit Card or Electronic Check using
SmartPay
(opens new window, close when transaction is complete)
Once your transaction with SmartPay is complete,
we will receive notification and will activate your
account and notify you via email within 72 business
hours.
STEP TWO: Select
New Dialup Access Phone Number
Look up your new Dialup
Access Phone Number.
Change your dial-in settings. For help see Dialup
Instructions.
