What We Do

The Faculty & Staff Helpdesk and IT support group is the first point of contact for all technology requests on campus. We field all technical calls and either take care of the campus needs ourselves or get the customer to the appropriate area within the department so that their issues can get resolved quickly. Our group has maintained a wonderful tradition of customer service and is well known among the campus community and the CSU system.

The Help Desk processes approximately 1,700 calls per month supporting faculty and staff with their desktop and laptop computers, printers, other hardware and software needs and remote/dialup issues. Our group now supports approximately 1,500 desktop computers which are used by faculty, staff, and auxiliary services. We are also responsible for installing "Refresh" computers and all campus moves, adds, and changes as it relates to desktop technology. In addition, our group is responsible for replacing software and network printers as well as providing the administrative support needed to get these systems installed.
