Rules

Computing Labs exist to serve students in their academic pursuits. Please know and observe our rules.

• Computers are used on a first-come, first-serve basis with no time limit.
• Computers are available for student use during open hours and when not in use by a class or special event.
• Students are asked not to enter a lab when a class or special event is in session.
• Students are requested to use headphones to listen to audio on their computer.
• Cell phone users are asked to step out of the labs.
• Assisted Access Stations are available in every lab.
• No food, drinks, or tobacco products are allowed in any lab.
• Students are expected to the computers consistent with the CSUSM Computer Policies.
• Students using the computers for non-academic purposes are asked to give up the computer if other students are waiting.

Students are expected to use the computers consistent with Cal State San Marcos policies and the Computer Lab Policy.
