Faculty & Staff Email Account Guide

Accessing Your Email

Your CSUSM username is used to make up your email address (i.e. [username@csusm.edu]). The first thing you need to do is determine whether you are an Outlook or WebMail user from your Support Staff Member.

Outlook – If you are an Outlook email user, please contact the Faculty and Staff Help Desk to schedule a time to setup your Outlook email account on your primary computer. If you are not at your primary computer, or if you are off campus, please use the Web version of Outlook called Outlook Web Version (http://zipcode.csusm.edu).

Outlook Web Version (http://zipcode.csusm.edu) – Outlook Web Version is the web version of your Outlook email available via a web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.). You will get a login box. Please enter “csusm\username” (where username is your CSUSM username, and without the quotes) in the Username box and your CSUSM password in the Password box.

WebMail - Most Adjunct Faculty members use WebMail to read or send email. WebMail is located at http://webmail.csusm.edu/. Type in you CSUSM username and password into the Log In box provided.

Mailing Lists (ListServ)

To create a new mailing visit the Adding/Maintaining A CSUSM Mailing List (ListServ) page.
To subscribe to a mailing list, please visit the Mailing List Subscription (ListServ) page.
