The latest version of Camtasia Relay Recorder is 4.2.1

1. Make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements for Camtasia Relay Recorder
2. Read and understand the naming convention for staff presentations.
3. Please download the recorder by logging in using your CSUSM credentials
4. Run Camtasia Relay Recorder and make sure it is connected to the server before recording.
5. How to use Camtasia Relay recorder
6. Trim and Submit your presentation

*Note: It is very important that you want for submission process to complete. Project will not be recoverable if it is interrupted during this process. Longer presentations take more time.

Naming your presentation

In the title section of the recorder, please use the following naming format:

Non-Course Presentation - DEPT_USERNAME_PRESENTATION_NAME

 Example: Risk_Management_Safety_bbradley_electric_cart_saftey

CSUSM Camtasia Relay Portable Recorder Download

     Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and Mac OS 10.6.8 and later

*You can run the Camtasia Relay portable recorder from a mobile storage device if there is any reason you cannot (or do not want to) record and upload directly from the presentation computer.

How to Install the Portable Recorder

1. Plug in a mobile storage device (such as a USB flash drive) and format the device as FAT32.
2. Click Download Portable Recorder and save the PortableCamtasiaRelay.zip file to your computer.
3. Locate and open the saved .zip file. Extract the files.
4. Copy all files from the .zip file onto the mobile storage device. All files from the .zip folder need to be copied to the root directory of the device.
