Camtasia Relay Instructions for Students

Students submissions must be authorized by a professor or instructor!

Please read and follow these instructions before downloading the Relay Recorder:

 Select guest instead of presenter, put Your name in the top box and your Instructor's email in the second box and select submit.

 In the title please use the following naming convention or your presentation may not get processed: COURSE###_Instructors_Name_Your_name_Title_Of_Your_Presentation.

An example would be: SOC495_Kathy_Shellhammer_Ima_Student_Final_Project

In the Description box you should enter Your name and campus login namealong with any other info you would like to include about your presentation

An example would be: Ima Student istudent236 Final project for SOC 495.

Please Select the proper download for your computer:

Download the file, do not run from the browser.

CSUSM Camtasia Relay Recorder for Mac OS 10.6.8, 10.7 and 10.8

New installation Instructions for Mac OS X:

1. Move the entire CamtasiaRelay Folder to the Applications folder.

2. Do not delete anything from the folder. It should contain the following three files:

• The Camtasia Relay app
• The Camtasia Relay .plist file, which works with Apple’s new 10.8 security settings to allow Camtasia Relay to install properly.
• This README file

3. To open Camtasia Relay, double-click the Camtasia Relay icon.

If you are having problems downloading from this page,

go to Our Relay Server, login and click the download button.

CSUSM Camtasia Relay Portable Recorder Download

CSUSM Camtasia Relay Portable Recorder Download

     Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Mac OS 10.6.8 and later

*You can run the Camtasia Relay portable recorder from a mobile storage device if there is any reason you cannot (or do not want to) record and upload directly from the presentation computer.

1. Plug in a mobile storage device (such as a USB flash drive) and format the device as FAT32.
2. Click Download Portable Recorder and save the PortableCamtasiaRelay.zip file to your computer.
3. Locate and open the saved .zip file. Extract the files.
4. Copy all files from the .zip file onto the mobile storage device. All files from the .zip folder need to be copied to the root directory of the device.
