## SPSS Resources on the Web

Academic Technology Services is currently developing SPSS help materials for the CSUSM campus.  Until our home-grown resources are available, we have prepared this collection of links to SPSS resources at other universities.

Module 1: Preparing for Analysis
Mediasite Presentation
The module introduces you to the basic data entry steps. Attachments: Instructions, a sample data set, and a sample survey. We will use it to get started with preparing data for analysis.
Module 2: Working with Variables

Module 2 will cover adding and moving variables, combining variables into new variables, reverse scoring, using formulas, and creating a subset. Materials: instructions, a sample data set, and a sample survey.

Module 3: Descriptive Statistics

Module 3 will cover summaries and descriptive statistics. Attachments include instructions, sample data, and sample survey.
Module 4: Correlation and Regression

Module 4 will cover correlation and regression. Attachments include instructions, sample data, and sample survey.
Module 5: Chi Square

Module 6: t Test and ANOVA

## Video-based web site examples

These SPSS resources are animated presentation.  Some have both video and audio while others are video-only.  These videos allow you to see real-time how the steps are carried out in the SPSS program.
