Creating the Gallery

Import into Cascade

Zip both the 'images' and 'thumbs' folders into one zip file. These images will imported into a new folder in Cascade.

Creating the gallery

1. Within your folder in Casacade, create a new folder named 'gallery'.
   This folder will be the container for your galleries. Each gallery will be in a seperate folder within the 'gallery' folder.
2. Create a new folder in the 'gallery' folder and enter a Display Name. The name will be your gallery title.
   (Examples: Commencement, XYZ Event,  08-09 XYZ Majors)
   
   This will be the folder where the gallery is created.
3. Import the zip file into this folder. 
   1. In Cascade click "Tools |Zip Archive"
   2. Browse for the zip file
   3. Click submit
      The folder structure will be:
      csusm/yoursite/gallery/yourgallery/images
      csusm/yoursite/gallery/yourgallery/thumbs
4. Create a new gallery page
   1. Click "New| csusm| gallery"
   2. Give your gallery a Display Name and title
   3. Click "Submit"
   
   The gallery should now work. The thumbnails appear in the left navigation area, and the images will appear on the right. There is one more step to completing the gallery
