Here are a few Photo Gallery tips.

As mentioned, always create a working folder for your images. You don't want Photoshop saving over the only copy of your images

Thumbnails for the photos are 75x75 pixels. If you know how to crop and resize in Photoshop, you can create your own thumbnails instead of using the script. Just make sure that they are named the same as their counterpart image

Photo gallery 'dont's'

The photo gallery is not intended as an image repository. Don't put all of your photos inside the gallery.

Try not to have less than 6 images in a gallery. If you are going to have less, it's a better idea to just display them all on a regular page.

Try not to have too many photos in your gallery. Remember, the photo gallery is for an online audience. They do not want to see 5 similar copys of an image. Choose your favorite images and use those. Also, the more images on the page, the longer it will take to load.
