Site Structure

Before creating your site in Cascade, it is a good idea to first figure out your site structure. This is a map of how visitors will navigate around your site. Doing this will allow you to start to build the navigation for your site. This training will get more into depth of how you should create your navigation.

Take some time to think of:

  • What is important for your site that visitors should see when they arrive to your home page?
  • What top level items do you want your visitors to see in the navigation?
  • Which items are less important or belong in a category of their own?
