Copy a page
We have seen how using the standard templates helps us save time and improve consistency. We can take this one step further.
When you have created a page of your own, using the template, you can copy that page to use it as a template.
- In your Folder List, click the page that you want to copy, to select it.
- Click the "Copy" tab, at the top of your content.
- Give your new file a new "system Name."
- If desired, choose a new "Parent Folder."
- Click the "Submit" button.
If all goes well, you will see your new page (in "View: Layout"), a duplicate of the page you just copied. - Click the "Edit" tab, at the top of the content of this new page and make the needed changes.
