NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that are related to education in the United States and other nations.  Although complete data sets from various surveys can be downloaded from the website, the section highlighted here provides access to the tables presented in several NCES compendia that appear annually (e.g., The Condition of Education, Digest of Educational Statistics).  Customized reports can be obtained through the National Education Data Resource Center.
