Outreach
High school students will develop a series of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Career Education Videos showing scientists and technology professionals at work using technology, probes, and sensors like the ones explored in iQUEST classrooms. Counselor Workshops will introduce information on STEM and ICT careers, preparation needs and provide specialized resources for guidance counselors from partner schools and districts. The project will tap into Special Events hosted by the Office of Admissions & Recruitment Outreach Programs at CSUSM to integrate project activities with campus outreach activities, especially in the areas of promoting awareness of IT careers and educational paths.
