Development

The project will develop, field test, externally review, refine, and disseminate four iQUEST modules, one for 8th grade physics, one for 8th grade chemistry, and two for 7th grade life science. Curriculum Design will convene the project research team during summers to study science standards and identify Information and Communication Technology (ICT) activities that will expand students’ learning of science concepts beyond textbooks. In particular, the research team will focus on ICT activities that prepare students for 21st century workforce. CSUSM interdisciplinary student teams, under supervision of the PIs, will collaborate with scientists from RIT and CSUSM, to leverage existing ICT Resources and create innovative new ICT Resources in the forms of visualization tools and interactive games to be part of iQUEST modules.
