Introduction:
Web 2.0 is a term for the "New Internet" and refers to the many collaborative free tools available today. Using these tools for courses and online communication can facilitate learning and enrich learning experiences through communities.

- Writely: Create a shared document online.
- Blogger Many teachers are using blogs for students to reflect, share and interact. They are easy to post and free.
- Podcasts, Flickr: young people today share all kinds of information. These are two of the tools available.
- Bookmarking: del.icio.us
- YackPack: send audio messages to a group or individuals.
