How does Podcasting support learning?


Participants will:
  • use an open source software for creating podcasts.
  • plan an audio story.
  • record and edit an audio story.
  • save and export an audio story.
  • learn about digital storytelling.
  • relate podcasting with ISTE NETS.
  • identify a lesson for podcasting in the classroom.

Introduction:
In this session, participants will learn about creating a podcast. They will learn how to integrate podcasting into their classrooms or work. After creating a practice podcast, they will consider elements of digital storytelling and create an audio file as a podcast to tell a story. Discussions will provide insight into strategies for implementing podcasting.
