Pageant of the Masters '99: The students decide which historical event they want to represent and then in groups they recreate it in the style of Pageant of the Masters '98. Students plan and design the pageant over 8 weeks and then perform as a culminating activity. "Come be captivated by living pictures of history, with students posing to look precisely like their counterparts in scenes from events of the past. A live performance with: music, live narration, and special lighting will be included. Parent volunteers unite to assist in this special event. Of course, students videotape the event for their digital portfolio for the year!

famous FBI cases, famous Americans,
solar system information and
research, etc. The site contains a search
feature and directory.
Using a word processor like ClarisWorks, students can create reports and desktop publishing in a newsletter format. Use existing assistant file from ClarisWorks or create step by step. The slide show feature can also be used for presentations.
Programs like HyperStudio and Powerpoint allow students to integrate technology in to any curriculum area. These tools need to be a tool that enhances student presentations and helps students demonstrate their learning. The KidPix Deluxe program offers younger students an opportunity to begin learning multimedia reporting skills.
