Course Articulations
- For all community college articulation agreements, check http://www.assist.org
- For courses not formally articulated on Assist, you may request an alternative course approval from your faculty advisor.
- For KINE 200 First Aid and KINE 201 CPR/AED, you may receive a course waiver* from your faculty advisor by completing the following outside courses (no other courses will be accepted!):
- KINE 200 First Aid
- American Heart Association: Heartsaver First Aid
- American Red Cross: Standard First Aid
- KINE 201 CPR/AED
- American Heart Association: BLS for the Healthcare Provider
- American Heart Association: Heartsaver AED with Infant CPR
- American Red Cross: CPR/AED Adult & Child plus Infant CPR
- American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer/Healthcare Provider
- KINE 200 and 201
- American Red Cross: Standard First Aid with CPR/AED - Adult and Child plus CPR - Infant
- American Heart Association: Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED
- KINE 200 First Aid
*note, these outside courses will waive the graduation requirement for KINE 200/201 but will not provide academic units or a grade. Students without "extra" transfer or CSUSM units not being used for other graduation requirements, may need to take additional units to satisfy the 2 units normally satisfied by KINE 200/201.
