Department of Kinesiology

Kinesiology refers to "the study of human movement." The B.S. in Kinesiology at Cal State San Marcos prepares students for a wide variety of careers in the areas of rehabilitation, wellness, fitness, public health, and education. We also offer an Accelerated B.S. Program through Extended Learning! The department of Kinesiology is a member of the American Kinesiology Association.

Physical Education Minor: If you are pursuing a career as a health or physical educator, or perhaps interested in becoming a personal trainer or coach, you may want to consider adding this minor to your degree. Master of Science: The M.S. in Kinesiology provides education and training for careers requiring an advanced degree, as well as preparation for doctoral study.
