The Raza Reception is a celebration of our CSUSM Latino and Latina graduating students; a CSUSM tradition for more than 15 years. The celebration has proven to be a success with more than 250 students, family, faculty, and staff attending each year. Our students work hard throughout their college years and reach a point in their life where their academic achievement should be celebrated, recognized and embraced. Our graduates look forward to this event more than ever!
Help us celebrate our students' academic accomplishments with our future alumni and their families... The Latino Association of Faculty & Staff (LAFS), student organizations such as MEChA, Espíritu de Nuestro Futuro, Oaxacan Student Organization and others invite you to be a part of this celebration. Each and every year we strive to make the event a triumph and we can proudly say that we have succeeded. We owe this success to the continous financial support we continue to receive from generous people like you. Your generosity will help us sponsor the event and purchase stoles with our Latin traditional colors to be worn on commencement day. Stoles are also worn at the Raza Reception with "orgullo."
All donations are tax deductible.
