Faculty Biography: Vivienne Bennett, Full Professor, Ph.D., 1987, University of Texas at Austin, Latin American Studies. Dr. Bennett joined the department in 1994. Her continuing research interests address the politics of water in Mexico, social movements and citizenship rights in Mexico, and gender and water in Latin America. She teaches courses on introductory interdisciplinary social sciences, modern Mexico, natural resource management, and contemporary Latin American development.
