Transfer Orientation Checklist

We're glad you chose Cal State San Marcos. Your Liberal Studies Advisors look forward to meeting you at the Transfer Orientation. 

Your advisors cannot provide advising before you attend the Transfer Orientation, but we will be available to answer questions and to help with course selection at your Transfer Orientation session.

To prepare yourself to learn about the major and to register for courses, please complete the following checklist before you come to the Transfer Orientation.

#2 Get to know the Liberal Studies Advising Website. 

     (You'll use this often as a student here.)
 
#3  Review the University's prompt payment deadlines.
 
#4  View your registration holds on MyCSUSM system.
 
#5  Bring copies of all of your transcripts to orientation.
 
#6  View the Guide to Liberal Studies PowerPoint Presentation, and complete the quiz at the end.
 
#7  Review the Depth of Study options. Come to Transfer Orientation with an idea of which one you plan to declare.
