Professor Linda Holt received her Ph.D. Degree from Rutgers University in 1991, and joined the Department of Mathematics at CSUSM that Fall.  Her research interests include partial differential equations, number theory, and the history of mathematics. She is also interested in mathematics education, and has worked on many grant-funded projects in collaboration with P-12 teachers, schools, school districts and/or faculty in the College of Education.
