I am pleased to announce that the individuals listed below have accepted invitations to visit campus as candidates for associate vice president for enrollment management services. Abbreviated biographies for each follow below.
An open forum will be held for each candidate, and I hope you will make plans to attend and participate in this phase of the search process. Your presence at the meetings will be important to the candidates and the search committee will appreciate receiving your input following the meetings. Forms will be distributed at each forum for submitting your confidential feedback.

Candidates’ abbreviated biographies:
Hung Dang (Campus Visit: Monday, Oct. 15 and Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012)
Hung Dang has a Master of Arts degree in Leadership and Organization from Gonzaga University-Spokane and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington-Seattle. He has been serving as associate vice chancellor for enrollment management and student affairs at the University of Washington Bothell since January of 2007. Prior to taking that position he was the assistant vice chancellor and director of enrollment management and university registrar from September 2002 to January 2007 at the same institution. Hung also served as university registrar and assistant director of admissions from 1993 to 1997 at the University of Washington-Tacoma.
Scott Hagg (Campus Visit: Wednesday, Oct. 17 and Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012)
Scott Hagg has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from The College of Wooster. He has been serving as interim dean of admissions and enrollment management at Humboldt State University since March 2012. Prior to taking that position he was director of admissions, outreach and records from 2003 to 2012 at Humboldt. He served at the University of Minnesota as director of admissions from 2001 to 2003, acting director of admissions from 1999 to 2001, and assistant director of admissions from 1998 to 1999. Hagg has experience as an ESL teacher and international college counselor/recruiter with the Thai American International School and as an ESL teacher with St. Joseph Bang Na, both located in Bangkok, Thailand from 1997 to 1998. He was assistant director of admissions from 1995 to 1997 and an admissions representative from 1993 to 1995 at Columbia College.
