Change to the CSU Fee Waiver and Reduction Program
Effective Dec. 1, 2012, the California State University (CSU) Fee Waiver and Reduction Program is extended to qualified dependent children of Executive (M98), Management Personnel Plan (MPP) (M80) and Confidential (C99) employees up to age 25.A dependent child fee waiver eligibility is defined as:
• A child or stepchild who has never been married;
• A child living with the employee in a parent-child relationship who is economically dependent upon the employee and has never been married; or
• A child or stepchild who is incapable of self-support due to a disability which existed prior to age 25.
This chart indicates the revised Eligible Dependents and Dependent Child Age Limit based on bargaining unit:

* Dependent Child - child or stepchild under the recognized age limit, living with you in a parent-child relationship who is economically dependent on you, and has never been married, or your child or stepchild who is at or above the recognized age who is incapable of self-support due to a disability which existed prior to recognized age.
