2012 Annual Benefits Open EnrollmentThe official annual open enrollment period for CalPERS health, CSU dental, CSU vision, Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA), Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA), FlexCash, Tax Advantage Premium (TAPP), and CSU Voluntary Benefits plans is being held September 10, 2012, through October 5, 2012. The annual open enrollment period is the time each year when employees can evaluate and change their benefits choices. The effective date for all changes made during the open enrollment period will be January 1, 2013.

To help employees choose the right plan for themselves and their family, CalPERS is providing on-demand videos as an alternative to hosting an onsite health fair during the Open Enrollment period. The on-demand video will provide employees and their dependents the opportunity to receive information from expert representatives of each of the CalPERS health plans offered to CSU. The on-demand videos can be accessed by visiting the CalPERS website.
