SUBJECT: Appointment of Executive Assistant to the President
I am pleased to announce that Caroline Tanner is joining the CSUSM family as executive assistant to the president. Her first day will be Monday, Jan. 14.
Caroline has nearly 20 years of experience in public higher education, including having served as the executive assistant for the vice president of student affairs at San Diego State University and as the budget officer for SDSU’s Equal Opportunity Office, among other positions. She brings a wealth of administrative, leadership and training skills to the position, as well as degrees in journalism and public administration.
Caroline will manage and oversee administrative duties in the executive office and will also collaborate with departments across campus to support the work of the president. We are delighted to have her at Cal State San Marcos and I hope that you will warmly welcome Caroline to the University.
