Appointment of Scott Hagg as Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Services

SUBJECT:   Appointment of Scott Hagg as Associate Vice President for
                 Enrollment Management Services

 
It is my pleasure to announce that Scott Hagg has accepted the position of associate vice president for Enrollment Management Services (EMS), starting on Jan. 7, 2013. Scott brings a wealth of enrollment management experience, a collaborative spirit and a sincere enthusiasm to join the Cal State San Marcos community.

Scott began his professional experience at Columbia College in 1993 as an admissions representative, and after two years he became the assistant director of Admissions. In 1997 Scott moved abroad and served as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher and International College counselor/recruiter with the Thai American International School and as an ESL teacher with St. Joseph Bang Na, both located in Bangkok, Thailand. In 1998 Scott accepted a position at the University of Minnesota where he served as the assistant director of Admissions for one year prior to assuming responsibilities as the director of Admissions. Scott’s CSU career began in 2003 at Humboldt State University where he served as the director of Admissions, Outreach and Records until being appointed interim dean of Admissions and Enrollment Management in March 2012.

I would also like to express my appreciation to the Enrollment Management Services team, including Interim Associate Vice President Dr. Lorena Meza, for their contributions to the EMS area during recent months. Please join me in welcoming Scott to CSUSM in the new year.
