REMINDER: Staff Professional Development and Training Courses - February 2013

Human Resources and Equal Opportunity (HREO) partners with campus departments and various agencies to provide training in key areas of professional development, campus processes, and Work/Life & Wellness. Training programs are designed to provide employees the opportunity to enhance their job skills and abilities for full potential in their position and for career development within the university. Employees are encouraged to check out the learning opportunities available for the month of February.

•    Excel 2007 – The Basics 102
•    BlueShield HMO and NetValue Plan Benefits
•    PowerPoint 2007 – More than the Basics
•    Conflict of Interest Form 700
•    Leading/Supervising Others (eight week certificate program)

Courses will be filled on a first-come first-served basis.  Staff should obtain approval from their MPP supervisor prior to registering for any course.  Employees can view complete course descriptions and request enrollment through the Training & Career Development website.  Employees may also search for courses and self-enroll by signing into MyCSUSM, and under "My HR Resources" click on the "HR Training Calendar."
