March is CSUSM Month in Vista and Temecula

The Vista City Council has declared March 2010 as California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) Month in the city in honor of the university's 20th anniversary in 2010. The City of Temecula will also declare March 2010 as CSUSM Month in the city at their upcoming meeting on March 23.
The campus has been similarly honored by the cities of San Marcos and Escondido. San Marcos Vice-Mayor Hal Martin declared it CSUSM Day in the city on Jan. 28, 2010 during the university's 20th Anniversary Kick-Off event and Escondido Mayor Lori Holt Pfeiler, an alumna of CSUSM's Master's of Business Administration program, declared Feb. 24, 2010 as CSUSM Day within the city. The County of San Diego Board of Supervisors declared it CSUSM Day county-wide on January 26, 2010.
