Cal State San Marcos Honored with Special Day in Escondido

The Escondido City Council declared Wed., Feb. 24, 2010 as California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) Day in the city in honor of the university's 20th anniversary in 2010.  Mayor Lori Holt Pfeiler, an alumna of CSUSM's Master's of Business Administration program, presented the proclamation to Vice President of University Advancement Neal Hoss at the city council meeting.

CSUSM has been similarly honored by the City of San Marcos.  Vice-Mayor Hal Martin declared it CSUSM Day in the city on January 28, 2010 during the university's 20th Anniversary Kick-Off event.  The County of San Diego Board of Supervisors declared it CSUSM Day county-wide on January 26, 2010.
