College of Business Fundraising Festival August 14: Savor enticing cuisine samples from over 20 popular vendors

On Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m., the College of Business Administration (CoBA) at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) will host its inaugural CoBA Wine, Food and Brew Festival, an event that will most certainly be an adventure of tastes, sights, and sounds. Held on the Markstein Hall Plaza at CSUSM, community members, college and university friends and alumni over the age of 21 are invited to attend and enjoy this unforgettable, open-air gathering.
Nearly 30 restaurants, wineries, breweries, and vendors will be on hand to provide savory samples including: Carlsbad Wine Merchants, Chili's, Cocco's Gourmet Chocolates, Cocina del Charro, Deep Sea, Elephant Bar, Frog's Leap, Jake's on 6th Wine Bar, Kendall-Jackson, The Lost Abbey, Montes Premium Wine, Port Brewing Company, Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill, Rudi Wiest Selections, Sabor de Vida Brazilian Barbeque, Sammy's Woodfired Pizza, Stone Brewing Company, PrimaVoce, Truly Madly Sweetly Bake Shop, Walker Family Vineyards, Watts Winery, Witch Creek Winery, and X-Winery Amicus.
Festival entertainment will include a performance by Singer/Songwriter Tiamo.
The CoBA Wine, Food, and Brew Festival is a college fundraiser aimed at engaging new and old friends of the college while showcasing fabulous wines, foods, and brews in a beautiful setting on campus. Tickets are $52.24 for general admission and $36.87 for CSUSM alumni. Purchase online now as tickets will be an additional $10 at the door. Event proceeds will provide scholarship and academic enrichment opportunities for CoBA students.
