California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) Extended Learning is pleased to announce it is offering a free Information Session to introduce those interested to the Meeting & Event Planning Certificate program.

What: A free information session for anyone interested in the Meeting and Event Planning Certificate Program. The information session will provide attendees with an opportunity to meet some of the program's instructors as well as learn about the program itself. 

When:  Wednesday, August 25; 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Where: Extended Learning (FCB 6-108) - 333 S. Twin Oaks Valley Rd., San Marcos, CA 92096

Why: All meeting and event planning professionals, new or experienced, need to continually update and learn new skills to keep pace with their ever changing client requests and the economic impacts to their industry. This information session will include an overview of the program, an opportunity to meet many of our local industry recognized instructors and gain insight into the "need to know" tools and skills that help them (and you!) be successful in today's dynamic event planning industry. The program is uniquely structured so participants can take individual courses to meet their specific needs and interests or they can complete all of the required courses, including a required hands-on opportunity designed to help students quickly apply newly acquired skills to receive a Certificate of Completion. All attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for a free class.
