CSU and AT&T Help Escondido and Oceanside High School Students Plan for College

A bus tour sponsored by the California State University (CSU) and AT&T will be cruising into North County San Diego for the second annual CSU/AT&T Road to College Tour 2010, a statewide education and college preparation campaign centered on improving under-served student access to the CSU, emphasizing the importance of early preparation for college, and ultimately expanding California's professional workforce.
On April 14 the biodiesel Road to College tour bus will stop at Escondido High School from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. before moving on to Oceanside High School from 12:30 to 2:20 p.m. Students will be invited onboard to participate in an interactive, hands-on experience, working on Mac laptops to explore career interests, majors and courses of study at CSU's campuses; campus information and college life, and financial aid and scholarship information. Cal State San Marcos student volunteers will be on hand to serve as ambassadors and assist the students with questions and information.
Who: Over 500 high school students, Cal State San Marcos student volunteers and outreach staff.
