CSUSM Honors Veterans

California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) is hosting two events in honor of Veteran's Day.

Operation Art, an exhibit featuring art by Arts Association students, students of the CSUSM Veteran's Center, and the US Navy - Fleet Combat Camera Group Pacific, will open with a reception on Nov. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the University Student Union/M. Gordon Clarke Field House, room 110. Veterans and artists will be present to speak about their work and experiences. The exhibit will remain on display through Nov. 16.

On Nov. 3 at noon, Dr. Heidi Kraft, a Navy psychologist at Camp Pendleton, will present her book, Rule Number Two: Lessons I Learned in a Combat Hospital. She will discuss her work regarding combat stress and her experiences working in a remote airbase in Iraq.
