CSUSM to Host Cash for College Workshop

Every January and February students and families are able to attend FREE "Cash for College" workshops across California for help in submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) is pleased to be hosting an event for the third year in a row.

During the event, CSUSM will have financial aid advisors and other professionals available to answer questions and computers will be available for families to complete the FAFSA onsite.  The Financial Aid & Scholarship Office is making every effort to assist local area high school college-bound seniors and transfer students to meet the March 2 Cal Grant and FAFSA priority filing date.

What:  Cash for College Workshop

When:  Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon

Where:  Markstein Hall, CSUSM, 333 S. Twin Oaks Valley Road, San Marcos.  Complimentary parking will be available.

Why: This FREE event provides students and their families an opportunity for hands-on assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the March 2nd priority date.
